Affiliate and advertising disclosure

Where the money comes from

Nexby is free because of display advertising. An advertising network fills labelled slots on the tool pages and pays per impression or per click. That revenue covers hosting and whatever the tools take to build.

Ads do not change the tools

Advertisers have no ability to alter a calculation, a character limit, a compression result or the wording of a guide. Nobody can pay to be recommended on this site, and the ranking of one tool over another is decided by which pages people actually return to.

Affiliate links

At the time of writing, Nexby contains no affiliate links and no sponsored posts. If that changes, the rule we will follow is this: any link that pays us a commission will be clearly marked right where you click it — for example "(affiliate)" in the link text or a disclosure line directly above the block — never buried in a footer, and never added to a page where the recommendation depends on that payment.

Product reviews and comparisons

Should this site ever review a service, we will state whether we were paid, given a free account, or receive a commission on sign-ups, in the first paragraph rather than at the bottom. Where a paid partner relationship could bias a comparison, we will say so and let you decide how much weight to give it.

Your side of it

Ad blockers are your right and we do not try to defeat them; the site works either way. If an ad is disruptive, misleading or looks like malware, send us a screenshot and we will ask the network to unserve it from www.nexby.co.uk.
